Understanding the Word “Change”.

When a declaration or pronouncement for ‘Change’ is made, it is synonymous to the misconceived declaration
of faith – “You shall not remain the same”.
This declaration is neither here nor there, but a mere gamble of the possible incident that will alter the Status quo.
Any of such declaration or promise for “Change” must be supported with its Terms and Conditions, in order to resist a scenario of selective claim and disclaim of the resultant incident.
From Frying Pan to Fire is a Change, from Good to Bad to Worst are also Changes.
Mathematics explained that; if the Status quo is Y1 and later an incident created Y2 ,   The Difference between Y2 and Y1 , that is  Y2 - Y1 = the Change (or dy).
There is no automatic condition that this Change will be Positive, especially when the incident that created Y2 makes it impossible to equate or exceed  Y1.
If the Status Quo Y1 exceeds the later Y2, , that is also a Change, a Negative One, not favourable to the extent that it should be rejected.
The rejection might be too late because the Terms and Conditions of the Promised Change are not substantial.

For a Positive Change, the recommended initiative is a Continuous and Focused Improvement- Kobetsu Kaizen.
